With the addition of Apple iPads, speech therapists would have access to the latest speech-language therapy apps such as Conversation Therapy, Let's be Social: Social Skills Development, Sensory CineVox, Word Vault / Word Vault Pro, Speech FlipBook – Articulation & Apraxia, and many more! iPads allow students to access lessons for functional life skills, a core value at our school. Students would be able to read about current events via news apps, check and send emails, and prepare presentations, all while learning to navigate technology. iPads also have the ability to double as AAC, communication devices, for our students who use nonverbal communication with access to apps such as TouchChat HD, Proloquo2go, and more! iPads allow for students to access this all in portable, eco-friendly, and compact devices so that they are never without the tools necessary for their independence!
