Ensuring that students are engaged in their learning is critical for student success. Unique, innovative tools ensure student engagement. It can be a challenging process to meet the needs of a diverse group of learners. I am excited for the year to come and hope to have a classroom full of innovative tools and resources. With a variety of disabilities, I have set rigorous goals for myself as an educator and for the students I reach. This project includes Wobble Chairs. These are essential to keep students with some disabilities on task by providing them with forms of movement while they are learning. I have also included tools such as chart paper and sentence strips to allow for engaging instruction and multiple forms of representation of instructional content. Magnetic lined paper allows for writing practice that is efficient for struggling learners. All of these tools will greatly support my amazing learners. I appreciate the support from the community in fulfilling my mission...to ensure academic achievement for all students. Thank you for your consideration in supporting my goals.
