The use of technology in the classroom is essential in everyday instruction. Yes, books are amazing; however, students learning needs are increasingly diverse and varied. Equitable access to quality interactive technology provides students a varied means of accessing information and knowledge; tools they will carry with them throughout their schooling years. As a teacher, having a variety of tools to teach my students is truly an invaluable asset. Textbooks just do not cut it anymore. They are helpful for meeting the needs of some students, but other students need more. Having used BrainPOP in the past, I have found it to be immensely beneficial to meeting many of my student's learning needs.
