Help me provide my students with flexible seating options for writing. Flexible seating will allow my students to choose anywhere in the classroom they want to complete their writing assignments. It gives them the freedom to choose and it gives them the privacy they may desire from their classmates! Students tend to complete more work when they are able to choose their seating, they realize it is a privilege and they don't want to lose that. Students also tend to show more of their creativity when they are relaxed and not sitting at a school desk or table. I want my students to kick off the upcoming school year on the right foot and I know allowing them to have some choices makes the biggest difference.
