Sensory play helps enhance a child’s five senses. Children are able to use their senses for exploring and learning. With a sensory table, I am able to create different types of activities that will help keep my students engaged in their learning while developing social skills, language skills, fine motor skills, and scientific reasoning skills. My students love art. They will use the brushes to create art. As they use a brush, their fine motor skills improve. An extra table in my classroom will be used for center play where my students can work with other hands-on activities.
