This year I am looking to help foster reading in students who are struggling with grade level material, including students with special needs. I am also looking to expand my classroom library to add diverse books as I think it’s important for kids to see themselves in the books they read. A component of our class is independent reading. Your help will allow me to receive intriguing and diverse titles to help students build reading skills through audiobooks. Reading a diverse array of literature can open so many doors for kids and I want to give them this opportunity to see that reading can be wonderful. Next year my students will go to high school and I want to ensure they are prepared and confident in their reading abilities. Thank you for your consideration!
