My classroom routine frequently involves the use of whiteboards to allow students to work through problems on their own with the easy ability to erase a mistake and keep going. They also allow me to easily see the thinking process and the level of understanding in my class to gauge proficiency on a topic. Also having basic school supplies (notebooks, pencils, glue sticks, etc) easily available to them allows them to keep their interactive notebooks organized so they have a great resource available when it comes time to study. With these supplies, my students will be able to interact with and grow their math skills in a fun and interactive way! A lot of the time, my students don't have the financial flexibility to buy basic school supplies that they would need to remain organized through the whole year. To be able to take the burden off of them, and allow them to focus on just learning would be beneficial to them in more ways than one!
