Play is the work of childhood and a vitally important part of my classroom. In the dramatic play center, my students get to explore roles and tools adults use. They get to dress up, assign each other roles to play, and act them out while learning to communicate, share, problem solve as well as help their classmates. My students love acting out roles that they see in the community. They can frequently be found making each other meals, conversing on play cell phones, and reading stories to their students. These costumes and kits will help them expand their play and broaden their imaginations in new and exciting ways.
