My students will be able to choose their own personalized learning paths based on their own interests, abilities, and skills. The technology is needed to ensure each student has access to resources in order to research their projects for English and Social Studies. Transforming students from bystanders in their education to leaders and facilitators in their education is my number one goal through personalized learning. I hope to have one computer to each student in the classroom this year to really see this vision come to light. Students will choose their own projects, learning paths, and assignments based on standards and will receive support throughout the process from me. This will happen through one on one conferences, shared google documents and folders (with myself and parents), and running documents to discuss progress, goals, and reflections throughout their learning.
