I'm a first-year teacher trying to establish my classroom. I like to allow students to buy social rewards such as alternative seating. Being stuck behind a desk all day can be boring, I let students work around the room in comfy chairs or even on the floor, where ever they work best. If students choose to work in an unconventional location they need an easy surface to work on. Many students find it difficult to work with their papers in their lap, having access to lap desks​ allows an easier time for students who want out of their desks. The ball chairs allow students who have nervous energy to bounce while still accomplishing their work. These chairs can also help seat the correct posture of a straight back for when students use computers.
