I teach at a low-income school; therefore, we do not have a lot of technology. Having this iPad will allow my students to work on LEXIA, a phonics based ELA computer program. This will give them an added boost in Reading confidence and performance. My students will also be able to use the iPad to work on Zearn, a Math computer program which correlates with Eureka Math, our Tier 1 Curriculum. This program will give my students opportunities to practice facts, math lessons, and remediation. Having technology in the classroom will give my students opportunities that they do not have at home.
