These tools will make a huge difference within my classroom. These are some of the resources that I found very helpful during summer school; however, they had to be returned at the end of summer school. For example, the teddy bear counters were a tool that helped more visual learners. I have compiled a list of some of these items because I believe they are so important in growing knowledge in my classroom at Fillmore Elementary. All of the resources on my list, give my students a choice in their learning. I want them to be able to have a choice in books they can read, have flexible seating, and math tools (with guidelines of course)!
