My goal for this year is to instill the joy of reading in each one of my students and to cultivate lifelong reading habits. By putting popular and engaging novels in the hands of my 4th graders, I am positive that they will come to be avid and joyous readers! I remember discovering the joy of reading in my 5th grade classroom library - I can remember reading Roald Dahl and Judy Blume obsessively on that classroom rug. It is my goal to bring the same passion for books to my students this year. Thank you for helping me do this!
