Flexible seating allows students to feel more in control of their learning, and it also gives them a chance to make choices that works best for them. During centers or independent work times, they will find a location in the classroom that's a good fit for them. My students are allowed to sit a different table, build forts under their desks, or lay on the floor with their work journals. When they are comfortable, they make better choices. This guarantees the best work they are able to provide. When engaged in flexible seating, they are more engaged and we have very few distractions. The products I have selected will help my students because it gives them options. The soft seats are comfortable, and they are only able to seat one student at a time. This helps to break up the monotony of sitting at their desks all day, and it allows them to move if need be without causing the noise that chairs do. I have seen how making their own choices motivates my students to want to do their very best. The additional resources will truly help and motivate us as a class even more!
