All of the materials that I have requested will be used to help build and strengthen fine motor muscles that are needed for proper pencil grip. Little hands can do big things with the right materials. The children will use the materials to strengthen fine motor muscles by squeezing, pinching, pulling and snapping, and all while having fun! The robot builders will allow the children to practice using their finger muscles to snap. The children will strengthen whole hand and finger muscles by squeezing the sand and using the tweezers to catch the sensory water beads. The little brick people will encourage the children to pinch and develop finger muscles. Please help me give my students these materials so they will have the fine motor muscle strength needed to be successful writers.
