There is never a student that doesn't want to be a better performer. Therefore, I strive to help them grow. The document camera will be very beneficial in the classroom because it will allow me to teach specific skills visibly, which would help students become better readers, writers, and critical thinkers. I could zoom in on modeling the steps towards annotating, writing essays, and answering questions. The document camera will make a huge difference by allowing students to see visually what is required for specific skills/techniques. Often, I find myself attempting to assist students individually because they could not grasp concepts better by seeing them.
