As first graders who are eager to learn and to read, these iPads will allow my class to access reading materials online to become fluent readers by the end of the year. Many of the students at my school do not have access to technology at home, with the use of these iPads, it will allow them to become successful readers and encourage them to enjoy reading while learning life skills as they integrate technology resources into their daily lives. With the use of the iPads, students will be able to listen to podcasts, listen to audiobooks, read books online to track their fluency, and even record themselves reading to build fluency.

About my class
