This would help my class so much having an enrichment area of learning literature. The students can keep track of their progress and have their own materials to be successful in tracking their achievement goals. Each student can have their own mailbox for the projects they are working on. They can easily access materials in organization drawers. Materials such as highlighters, folders, index cards with vocabulary, can help them navigate through the reading center and learn from a variety of passages. We are working with a variety of abilities in first grade, having students set goals and track their progress is setting them up to be successful adults.
