Currently, we have large bulky desks with the chairs connected to them. We use these for morning meeting and center rotations. This takes up a lot of space and make morning meeting and centers a lot less personal. These also are a flexible seating option to my students that are easily moved around. It isn't always possible for most of my students to just sit on the carpet, as they often lose control of their body, takes lots of core strength, focus, and body awareness. This is common with autism. However, these cube chairs can be two different sizes of chair and turn into a table! These cube chairs can also be taken to their inclusion classes where they will be able to fully participate with their peers. The chairs will help my students focus on the task at hand and know where their space is. There should be more options for seating for my students to find success in any classroom. These chairs are an expensive option, but I have seen great success with them throughout my years of student teaching, have used them for interventions, and come highly recommended.
