All students need to feel good about the classroom space that they spend a good part of their day in. Many times a special education classroom can seem dull and sad. Help make my students happy with the space they will work in. Having inspiring and flexible seating options in a classroom is a great way to help students settle in and feel supported in their learning environment. Many students come to school with adverse past experiences, trauma or stress. I want to create a classroom environment that allows them to feel safe and cared for. Having flexible seating options gives them a choice in where to seat and allows them to have positive movement options in the classroom.
