These special lounge chairs will provide an area where the students can work in privacy and not be distracted by others in the classroom. Since I work with students in 6th and 7th grade, I have a full classroom most of the periods. If I am able to get the lounge chairs, I would be able to dedicate an area in the classroom where the students who need a quieter place can go. The privacy pod can also be beneficial to the students who need an area where they can calm down when they feel anxious. A partially enclosed space can provide a sense of security and comfort for these kids. Middle school can be a difficult time transitioning from elementary to middle school so having a stress free area can be just what they need.
