The materials chosen such as The Storytelling Box will encourage my non-writers to begin the writing process by assigning a Who?, What?, and Why? section to their writing. As English language learners and/or diverse learners, my students require a differentiated approach to learning how to write. One which will encourage them to feel comfortable in sharing their life experiences in written form. The stickers, stampers, and blank books will motivate my young writers to create descriptive and moving writing examples that will be shared in the classroom for all to enjoy. The English Language Development Writing Center will provide my English language learners, picture cards, vocabulary cards, and sentence frames to continue to build their learning of the second language. These visuals will motivate my non-writers to attempt the writing process.
