Everyday, our students need motivation to learn. One way they can do this is through different learning modalities. After 13 years, our classroom student whiteboards are worn. Our sharpies are almost dry and we need to store for our dry erase markers. It is time to replenish these supplies. Students use their dry erase markers in the gradual release lessons during the guided practice and independent practice parts of the lesson. They allow students to erase and fix math, review vocabulary and spelling, practice content vocabulary in science and social studies. Sharpies are used to integrate art into all subject areas as students illustrate, draw and create graphic art.
