Comfortable students are calm, focused, and productive. Students learn better when they have a chance to work together. Traditional desks in rows isolate students from each other. I'm requesting Emotion Floor Cushions, motion stools, Comfy Floor Seats, padded stools, and lap desks. This flexible seating will allow students to easily pair up, work in small groups, or discuss as a whole class. Changing the layout of my classroom can lead to more than just improved attention and focus. Students' learning will be deeply impacted. In addition, students will understand the daily routine and take responsibility for their learning. The classroom will be more accessible for students, will increase student engagement, and be open to a variety of learning styles.
