As a first-year teacher, I have decided to go 100% flexible seating. These materials will help transform the learning environment in our classroom, making the space more inclusive to all students. These flexible seating options will give students the choice to work in a space that is best for their personal learning. The stools and CanDo balls will be set up at several different tables throughout the classroom. The chair pads will be used as seats at a kneeling table. The other flexible seating will be set up throughout the space, open for students to utilize throughout the day. The hands-on manipulatives will give students materials to enhance their learning and practice teamwork skills and collaboration.
