My wish for all students to have enough books to read independently regardless of their reading level. My classroom library will not restrictions on what books students can or cannot read. I want my classroom library to have a variety of books. The more kids read, the better writers they become, thus, learning more vocabulary which is an area that most ESL/BIL students struggle with. When these students get to 4th, which is when the state test their writing skills. In the past three or so years my csmpus has not done well in this area. I want to expose students to as many books possible because reading is an intervention for writing and vice versa.
