Providing students from low income families the same access to a quality art program as students from wealthier schools' private funded art programs, helps provide equity for ALL students. Many of my students have never had experiences using pastels and watercolors. It is amazing to see the calmness in the in the room as the students create with these materials. Many students think art is just drawing and are further inspired when introduced to these types of art media. There is more and more research proving that art education engages students in learning and provides a well rounded education. Please help me provide my students with the materials needed to help make these students have the best school experience possible. Thank you!

About my class
