Sensory items in this project will help scholars take control of their academic journey. Many of my scholars want to be successful but need a little help to get there. Fine motor skills are difficult with clumsy untrained fingers. With items in this project, we will practice practice practice the skills we can't do YET. With items that can focus the minds of these kinder scholars, they will flourish. Scholars in kindergarten are making a huge transition, with so many new expectations. Some of my students are unable to remain seated in any setting, the use of a weighted blanket will focus and control the body of the student. This tool would better able the scholars to use their mind in ways they haven't yet been able.
