I am purchasing Chromebooks for a technology station. Utilizing stations allows me to reach students more directly and Chromebooks enables the learning to continue when I'm not right beside the students! Have you ever sat through a 90 minute math lecture? It is no fun! This year I want to change up how we use those 90 minutes. Dividing students into small groups that rotate through teacher time, independent learning, review and technology allows us to cover more material in depth and gives students enough change to stay engaged. The use of technology helps students dive deeper and enhance lessons, or learn remedial skills they are missing that are needed for the lesson. My students deserve the best. This project will purchase two Chromebooks for the classroom technology station and I hope to add many more!
