The current environment has many teachers, administrators, and parents scrambling to find a way for children to continue their education in a safe environment. Creating an outdoor space for students to learn not only supports safe learning in our current situation but fosters students’ natural curiosity, increases engagement, reduces stress, and improves behavior. With the tools this grant will provide, students will investigate concepts in math, literacy, and science. Students will learn to work together to solve problems such as how to move water from one location to another, how to take care of the world around them and create an engaging environment. Put students in the safest and engaging environment by supporting the development of our great outdoor classroom.
