The materials purchased will help us create an adaptable literacy space where students of the Innovation Academy will use flexible seating, a student use copier, and innovative periodicals to enhance students' literacy achievement. The up-to-date collection of reading materials will be added to the space in order to make a large impact on literacy development through project based learning. The purchases made with this grant will enable our students to meet their social and emotional needs by allowing them a new unique space to use while working alone or in groups. This will be evidenced by the different ways students utilize the furniture and reading materials in their learning.
