I have worked in special education for over 5 years now. I have come to find that students who have flexible seating are more inclined to sit in their seat for longer periods of time and focus more on their school work. It helps keep the students focused when they are more comfortable in their school chairs, compared to sitting in a hard plastic chair the whole day. It is convenient to move the yoga balls around the classroom as well when students are switching stations or work areas. When students can bounce while they learn it will also relive stress at times and make class more enjoyable.
