The use of our central location, or carpet, will be a daily part of life in my classroom in math, reading, science, and social studies students will facilitate questions and have open conversations to learn from one another. This place will provide the needed space to work problems, work with each other, use sorting and defending their specific ideas to reach a collaborative idea which they can defend and persuade with evidence to teach one another. This rug will create a place for us to meet for lessons, a place where students can lead instruction/conversations, and a place for students to work on collaborative stations.
