Reading is a natural outgrowth to enhance my students’ writing, comprehension, and vocabulary. These book sets will unlock new worlds for my students that they have never experienced before. My goal is to instill the love of reading and promote a positive attitude towards picking up a book. One way these book sets will help guide my journey in developing my students’ reading skills is by giving them the power of choice. This will break down their walls and let books into their world. Furthermore, having these books will increase the engagement between my students, which in turn will foster their love of learning. Book studies allow my students to dig deep and inquire about what they are reading. The conversations that these books will spark for my students will be noise to my heart!
