Giving students access to technology in my classroom is extremely important to me. Students will be using the technology daily in class for assignments, research, projects, communication, the writing process, and various other activities. I feel as though, students should be able to demonstrate learning and show mastery of standards through the use of technology. Students will be able to work on material independently, or collaboratively, to demonstrate their understanding. Having this technology in the classroom will give students an outlet for their creativity to "show what they know". The chrome books will become an important part to the daily work of each student in the class.
