Every product selected can be applied to the curriculum of Family and Consumer Science. This equipment will help students take an engaging, hands-on approach to my content area. Items I have selected will provide each student with the personal protection equipment, sanitation products, and equipment that our kitchens in the classroom will need. Products and equipment will be used in Food, Nutrition, and Safety and Family and Consumer Science. Each piece of equipment will teach students proper kitchen safety and provide them with quality equipment. All Food, Nutrition, and Safety students will be certified in the National Restuarant Association's Food Handler program upon completion of my class. It is my hope that by providing my students with both quality instruction and products, I will be teaching them quality skills to prepare them to become better employees.
