I would like to implement flexible seating in the classroom for the students because it helps them to focus when needed. When the students are required to sit in a desk for 6-7 hours a day they begin to get restless and unsettled. Even we, as adults have to get up from our desks every once in a while to take a breather. Imagine how the students feel. As a Spanish teacher I incorporate lessons that include movement, song and dance in the classroom, but I can’t do that every day. I’d like to use the flexible seating options on the days that we are drawing or using technology. If you choose to donate to this project, I’d like to thank you in advance.
