In my classroom, we build upon language, social skills, eye contact, my turn/your turn, staying seated, and all of these wonderful skills crucial to socializing through the use of games. The students in my classroom will be able to use these games to build these important skills with both their classmates in my room and also general education students that come down to work with us. We have a lot of games that were donated to us, although we appreciate it, many are now missing pieces or are broken. I would love to see the excitement as I pull a new game out of the cupboard to play with my students!
