The purpose of my project is to provide my class with flexible seating. I am a second-year teacher and I noticed that the use of flexible seating really helped with my student engagement and collaborative work amongst one another. Flexible seating gives my students the opportunity to learn in a non-traditional way. Flexible seating allows my students to sit where they are most comfortable. It accommodates each student's learning style while allowing students to collaborate and build relationships with each other. I know Kindergarten can be a very stressful year for our little Scholars, so I would love to bring my upcoming students into an inviting, comfortable classroom.
