All of these materials allow students to have a classroom full of resources that take away the stress and anxiety of not having the basic supplies needed. These materials will allow my students to dream big on projects and assignments, while having the tools needed to help their visions come to life. Imagine students having ample color to chose from when they reach for a marker to complete a math equation on their very on white board. Or having scissors readily available to cut out their geometric shape to add to their diorama! Imagine their faces lighting up when they see their “just right” book in their new reading basket designated just for them. It might sound silly, but these basic classroom tools can really move the mountains of embarrassment and fear out of the students way and allows them to focus on the meaning of what their learning. Please find it in your heart to help me meet the basic needs my students so demand.
