The funding of this project will allow me to be able to incorporate music and rhythm into my classroom with the use of the wooden claves. The addition of this instrument will make it possible for me to help my students build a foundation in music and community building. I will foster my students creativity with the use of the watercolors in efforts to extend our art mediums beyond the use of acrylic paint. Having a listening center within my classroom will be an immense advantage for the students success in literacy and will help them build a lifelong love for reading.
