My students' bodies are still growing and it's very painful when they are confined to traditional seating. Seven year old children need to be able to move and learn simultaneously! Children find it difficult to sit and remain focused during group reading and math instruction and when completing partner work. My students need flexible seating to allow them mobility and focus, creating success! Some children need a standing desk with a foot bar on the desk to focus using motion. Some children need wiggle seats for hip rotation and air comfort for growing bodies. Others need chair bands for silent movement while reading.
