The items selected will allow my students to sit spaciously on the floor for the whole group and flexible learning. It is a place where authentic learning will occur through conversation with each other and play. We utilize this space to explore, discuss and create STEM projects, math lessons, storytime and make music with the assistance of the Promethean Board and internet access. The tablets will allow my students to work in pairs at their tables and individually in a space in our room of their choosing to visit age-appropriate sites like ABC Mouse, National Geographic Kids, and Starfall.com. My student’s ability to succeed is what I strive for daily and with your support, assist in their mastery of basic skills.
