Programming is a skill set many students can benefit from learning. What better way to learn programming than through play with Block programming with Legos? My students will be able to physically see cause and effect of their decisions and problem solving process by having their robot complete the challenges on the mat. My students love using the robots in class from designing the robot itself to having the robot complete simple tasks. Having a new robot and challenge mat would give my students a new opportunity to challenge themselves.
