By having flexible seating options and ways to fidgets in the classroom, it will allow my students to learn in the best environment without singling students out. It gives freedom of choice to all students in the classroom, not just those who need it. By giving students the option to sit differently or move while learning, they are learning about responsibility as well as what they need to succeed in the classroom. Flexible seating, when used correctly and effectively with your students, has been shown to increase their focus, differentiate their seating options, and decrease disruptive behavior in the classroom. It also builds skills in self-regulation and responsibility.

About my class
