The donation for this project, is to help promote reading in the classroom. The rug will benefit the class when we do whole group reading. We will sit in a circle and read as a class. I also will join in with the students and listen/participate with the students as well. The books will help promote independent reading. Students will have an opportunity to choose from various books and be able to fill out a graphic organizer. The new books will allow the students to be able to choose from a variety of books that will last all year long!
