Getting this Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will allow me to buy leveled books from their website. Each reading level comes with 4 fiction and 4 nonfiction books, which comes to a total of 208 books written by teachers for students! These books come in both digital and print versions. With the digital version, students have access via their iPad or laptop. They can listen to the book being read aloud, read and annotate the text themselves, or follow along with the teacher during a guided reading lesson. This digital access allows my students who don't have books at home an opportunity to continue reading through their devices even when remote. The goal of using these leveled texts, is to help students progress in their reading and close the learning gap that has occurred from this past year. Any donation will be greatly appreciated!
