Students in my STEM class come with a variety of learning styles and needs. Their inability to sit still can prevent them from focusing on the lesson. Flexible seating will give my students options which will increase their ability to focus. An increase in student focus will decrease time spent on the lesson and increase time for student practice. Flexible seating will be incorporated for students who need differentiated seating. I will also include a student choice option for those who, while they may not NEED optional seating they may want to try it or have it as a special incentive.
