STEM is the future, bottom line. You would be surprised at how many jobs now require some type of STEM skills. Yes, STEM stands for Science, Engineering, Technology and Math, but it is so much more than that. STEM is about the skill set that you use while doing STEM project. Skills such as collaboration, problem solving, critical thinking and communication. This is vital for students to aquire. Employers are looking more and more for individuals with these "soft" skills. By funding my project, you will allow for my students to receive some projects/kits in which they will use STEM to build or put together. They will love having these materials to tinker with!
