My fourth grade students work diligently for hours at a time. The wobble chairs will allow them to move their core muscles while continuing to work. Both the wobble chairs and the bean bag chairs will give more comfortable options while they read. Because most of my students come to fourth grade a little bit below grade level, they must work harder than their peers to catch up. By building in choices and movement in their seating, I hope to help students concentrate for longer periods of time and significantly reduce off-task behavior. If we can maximize our time on task, my students will make even more growth.
